My Review of the New Goodyear Eagle GT Tires

Okay, so I was needing some tires pretty badly on my 04 Grand Prix GTP. My previous tires were pretty bald,  and they were high-performance tires. Up here in the snowy state of Minnesota, high-performance tires don’t do so hot in the winter. Especially bald ones. So I began to research and see what I could come up with for what would be a good performance tire and yet not be horrendous in the winter. After hours and hours of researching I came across the New Goodyear Eagle GT tires. It seemed from the looks of it that they could get me through winter alive (hopefully) and yet provide me with the type of performance that I really wanted. So I went to my local Discount Tires to see if they had any of the tires that would fit my car in stock. Sure enough they did.

Immediately, I noticed a difference in performance. They were way more responsive then my previous high-performance tires even though these are all-season performance tires. Plus, the exact same day I got the tires it was raining out, so I could test them in that kind of weather. I purposely tried taking corners and braking hard to test these babies out. All I could say is, “Wow.” They are the real deal. The cornering in my car is now 1000 times better then it was before. Probably better then any other tire I’ve ever had. The ride is very smooth compared to my previous set of tires.

In conclusion, the value of the new Goodyear Eagle GT tires is great. For my car these tires retail at $139 each. Right now I can’t really say how well these tires are gonna hold up with increased mileage and weather conditions, but hopefully they’ll hold up well. I’ve been driving on these now for about 3 months and so far absolutely no complaints.
